The physical property of conducting or transferring heat from another material it touches. Diamond has the highest thermal conductivity of any bulk material, either natural or manmade. This is the main property that is used to identify diamond with a Diamond Tester, and separate it from its primary Diamond Simulants, such as Cubic Zirconia. Moissanite, however, is similar to diamond in its thermal conductivity, so you need to use a separate Moissanite tester to separate this material from diamond and ensure the accuracy of your identification.
