In older times, some dealers preferred diamonds with the basic parameters of a 60% Table % and 60% Depth %. In some cases, if other factors of a diamond are cut to match those measurements to produce good Light Performance, it is possible to have excellent appearance. However, it is by no means any sort of guarantee, and I would avoid stores that still promote this, because it is outdated knowledge and outdated terminology. These days, go with the official Cut Grade listed on a Diamond Grading Report instead.
